Birthday in B-tyne

We’re finally done moving all our stuff out of the old house in hillbilly hell, I mean Kannapolis…when you leave $10 lamps on the side of the road and they disappear in 20 minutes, you know you’re living with some top-notch individuals.

Ballantyne (or B-tyne if you’re Josh my GM) is the reason we moved to Charlotte. Along with the weather, it’s a commercial paradise – anything you could ever need or want is within 15 minutes or less and it’s much easier to get to our jobs/uptown Charlotte. Minus the matchbox-size garage, the house is a huge upgrade too. More space, a back door & fenced yard and a master-suite bigger than most college dorm rooms. Definitely a better area & house to raise Squishy in.

To celebrate moving to Ballantyne and the birth of the fattest baby in Ohio, we went to Chima for my birthday. You can’t beat Non-stop Brazilian meats and the exotic salad/seafood/pasta buffet. And if you’re feeling a little fruity, you can even get a Caipirinha (Brazilian Mojito)…oh wait, the dude sitting across from us sitting with Snooki’s twin sister was drinking one too…so suck it server that thought the Caipirinha was for Gena. If I’m going to drop $10 on a drink, it’s going to be something I can’t get anywhere else and it’s not going to be some lame Chilean wine (all the other glasses of wine were $12+). Gena will tell you I’ve always been a cheap-ass; buying all the baby stuff for Squishy has really made me realize I’m in the wrong business.
