It's a good thing

That the 4 month wakeful is not a person, otherwise papa Rob would be bailing my ass out of jail for assault with a deadly weapon. This "developmental milestone" is ruining our lives, especially Fi's. Last night she woke at 11 p.m., 12 a.m., and 2:30 a.m. screaming like someone decapitated Ducky while she was forced to watch.

Mom, Dad, and baby are all exhausted (of course, Wallace is not since he manages to catch up on his sleep while holding down the couches for us during the day) and praying that this phase is short-lived.

For now, I'll do just about anything to keep her sleeping, because a well rested baby is a happy baby (& mama). So for now, someone will be taking naps in my office...I sure wish that someone was me.

P.S. she's not even 4 months yet, shouldn't we have been given a reprieve until then??
