Weekly Wednesday Update 30/40
How far along? 30 weeks
Sleep? Miserable. It literally hurts to sleep. My hips hurt, my back aches. If this is what getting older is like, count me out!
Best moment this week? Being officially DONE moving!
Movement: Stronger every day, and it's especially funny when papa Rob watches my belly move & says "wow, it looks like there's an alien in there."
Food cravings: Ice cubes. And I would stomp a puppy for Sonic ice especially.
Belly button in or out? Still in, but the inside is becoming flush so I have a feeling it's only a matter of time.
What I miss? Not having a constant ache.
What I am looking forward to? We go on Monday for another ultrasound to make sure Squishy's CPC has resolved & see if my "low-lying" placenta has moved up.
Milestones: Squishy now weighs almost 3 pounds and is over 15.7 inches long from head to heel. A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds him/her, but that volume will decrease as Squishy gets bigger and takes up more room in the uterus. Eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after he/she's born, Squishy'll will have 20/400 vision — which means he/she can only make out objects a few inches from his/her face.
What I'm nervous about: Only having 10 weeks left! I'm excited and terrified at the same time. It seems like 10 weeks is so far off, but it's really not.
