Nerd alert

As papa Rob loves to say, I'm a bookworm, and I have been ever since I can remember. So surprisingly, I have been pretty adamantly opposed to e-readers since they first came out. I guess this is because I love the smell of books, I love being able to turn the pages, and I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I see my bookmark moving through the book.
Well, I caved and asked for a Kindle for Christmas and there is no turning back because I absolutely love it! I don't know why, but it makes reading so much easier and more enjoyable. And even though I still miss that book smell and seeing how far I'm progressing in a book, I seem to be reading much faster thanks to Kindle (which I'm spending so much time with, I feel like she deserves a name), so as if this post wasn't nerdy enough, I'm challenging myself to read more this year.
