Moooving on up

Lately car rides have been a little...less than pleasant. Fi has been a pretty good traveler, she did fine on the way back & forth to Ohio when she was 2 months old, and she normally is OK for her daily commute to and from school. But lately, she's been a total grump in the car. I scoured the internet and got some advice that she may be uncomfortable in her infant "bucket" seat & maybe it was time to size up.

I was definitely not planning on doing this until she outgrew her current seat. I mean, that sucker wasn't cheap & it's so much more convenient to strap her into the seat in the house & pop her in the base in the car. (Not to mention, I was probably a little bit in denial that my little munchkin was outgrowing the car seat that she came home in.)

But, after yet another screaming fit on the way home & she couldn't be consoled by a bottle, Ducky, toys, or Youtube Elmo videos, we decided it was time to bite the bullet. Well, $200 and 2 days later (thank you Amazon Mom & your Prime shipping), Anneliese's big girl "cowmooflage" seat was here.

We're only a few days in, but it looks like we're back in happy traveler business!
