We're ready

for Christmas! Yesterday papa Rob took me to get my Christmas present early, a pair of Classic Tall Uggs in Chestnut.

I wanted to be ready for the cold weather (& possible snow) when we go back to Ohio next week for Thanksgiving. I've never really cared for Uggs, they're kind of (OK, they are really) ugg-ly. But man, once you put your foot in there, it's like stepping in a warm bowl of pudding...not that I've actually done that so I could be full of it, but take my word for it, they're worth it!

And then, as our annual tradition, we had our picture taken with Santa. This year's money was donated to the Hounds 4 Heroes and Santa was a great sport (and had a real beard, which doesn't usually happen). I had mixed emotions looking at the picture, happy that next year we'll be a family of 4. But it made me a little sad, thinking this would be Wallace's last Christmas as an "only child." (I mean, look at him, he obviously has no clue what's in store for him.)
