Weekly Wednesday Update 19/40

How far along? 19 weeks
Sleep? I guess I should've been thankful for the 1 wake up per night, now I'm waking up at least twice, sometimes three times, to pee. And I wake up SO thirsty.
Best moment this week? Getting to see Squishy! He/she finally looks like a real baby.
Movement: Just bumps & nudges, and poor papa Rob is dying to feel it but Squishy's just not kicking hard enough yet. Guess he/she isn't going to be a soccer player like dad.
Food cravings: Nothing new this week.
Belly button in or out? Still in.
What I miss? Sleeping 8+ hours, being able to find a comfortable position to lay on the couch.
What I am looking forward to? Going home for Thanksgiving! I leave on Monday & Rob & Wallace will join us on Wednesday.
Milestones: Squishy's brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that he/she may be able to hear now. The arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of the body now. Squishy's hair is sprouting and a waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on the skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.
What I'm nervous about: Flying next wk w/o meds. I couldn't tell you the last time I did it, so here's hoping I don't pass out.
