Weekly Wednesday Update 10/40

Wow, have I gone a whole week without updating? Sorry, I was busy preparing for my best friend's baby shower in Charleston (which is where we spent last weekend) & trying to cope with the horrendous all-day sickness that is taking over my life.

 How far along? 10 weeks
Weight gain/loss: As of my weigh-in last week, I gained another 2.4lbs (I am convinced I have an alien or something growing in there) so that brings our total weight gain to 7.2lbs.
Sleep? The all-day sickness still seems to be really bad at night, especially right before bed so I'm having a hard time getting comfortable & falling asleep. Also, I'm fortunate that I only wake once during the night to pee but it's usually 30 minutes-an hour before the alarm goes off so I have a hard time catching that last bit of rest before getting up.
Best moment this week? Not Squishy related, but we had a great time spending the weekend with Brittany & Eric, it will probably be the last time we get to see them before they become parents!
Movement: Unless you count gas, none.
Food cravings: I'm not craving much, but there are only certain foods that sound appetizing. And unfortuantely, they're usually crap (Taco Bell's Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Wendy's fries, Arby's roast beef sandwiches).
Belly button in or out? In, for awhile I hope. But at the rate this weight gain is going, I have my doubts.
What I miss? Not feeling like I'm going to puke all day and night, sleeping soundly for a full 8 hours, & not having the acne-ridden face of a teenager.
What I am looking forward to? We have our Nuchal Translucency test & bloodwork next Tuesday. I'm so excited to see how Squishy is developing.
Milestones: Squishy's bones and cartilage start to form and vital organs begin functioning. His/her body length will almost double in the next 3 weeks and arms joints are now working.
What I'm nervous about: Our NT scan & bloodwork. I'm excited to see how much Squishy (should) look like a real baby & not a Sour Patch Kid, but still nervous since until I know that everything is developing as it should.
