Dear Walgreens cashier

It kind of defeats the purpose of asking to touch my baby after you have already touched her, don't you think? Although, she did look pretty darn cute crammed in that tinyass shopping cart. (Really, Walgreens, you couldn't afford bigger carts?)

I have learned my lesson & usually don't leave the house alone with Fi unless it's absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, I'm dealing w/my second bout of mastitis in less than 3wks, and I had to go out to pick up antibiotics & finally fill the prescription for pain meds I got after Anneliese was born.
Yes, I managed without pain medicine after pushing a 95th percentile head out, but a breast infection brought me to my knees & I had to take something because it hurt that bad. (I should mention it's a lot easier to deal with a fussy baby when you're doped up on pain killers. Just throwing that out there.)
I am convinced that whoever said breastfeeding was easier than formula feeding, must have either been a man or a non-lactating woman. This kid better end up being a rocket scientist that never gets sick.
