Weekly Wednesday Update 13/40

Really Babycenter, a shrimp? How is a shrimp bigger than the lime we had last week? I think I prefer to visualize Squishy as the peach that The Bump says he/she is this week:

How far along? 13 weeks
Weight gain/loss: As of my weigh-in last week, I gained another 1.4 lb so that brings our total weight gain to 10.6lbs...and thank you Babycenter for throwing it in my face that most women only gain 2-5lbs in the first trimester. I guess I've always been an overachiever.
Sleep? Thankfully the multiple trips to the bathroom have stopped, but I keep waking up to pee 10-15 minutes before the alarm goes off. There is nothing more annoying than missing out on those last few precious moments of sleep.
Best moment this week? Finally being "out at work." Considering one of the janitors has been giving me a hard time for "getting soft," I wanted to tell say in your face!
Movement: Unless you count gas, none.
Food cravings: The all day nausea is dwindling back down & mostly hits from after lunch to bedtime. Food cravings are random - Halloween candy, Twice baked potatoes, French Onion dip, apple slices w/salt (which may sound like a weird pregnancy thing but I have always eaten my apple slices that way).
Belly button in or out? In, for awhile I hope. But at the rate this weight gain is going, I have my doubts.
What I miss? Having the energy to paint my nails. I used to do it at least twice a week, but I haven't felt like it in *gasp* a month!
What I am looking forward to? Getting to the 2nd trimester & hopefully having some relief from the nausea, frequent urination, acne, & exhaustion.
Milestones: Squishy's teeth and vocal cords are forming and the fingerprints have formed, the veins and organs are clearly visible through his/her still-thin skin, and the body is starting to catch up with the head — which makes up just a third of the body size now. If Squishy is a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries.
What I'm nervous about: Knowing we won't see Squishy until our next ultrasound on Nov 15 is little nerve-racking.
