Christmas shopping already?

We decided Wallace is getting his own bed for Christmas (shhh, don't tell him). After his last puking-in-bed (I have to specify last b/c it happened about 3 times alone in the 9 months we've been in NC) incident cost us $100 to dry clean our brand new comforter, we decided maybe he should start sleeping on the floor. I miss having him in bed, but he seems to be enjoying having free reign of the house & being able to readjust and move around throughout the night. And bonus, he hasn't thrown up at all in the 2 months he's been sleeping on the floor.
So we narrowed it down to these 2 beds, but since it's a surprise, we can't get Wallace's input. Wonder which one he would like better?
