After much planning, preparing, & praying we have come to the decision that I'll be joining the ranks of stay-at-home moms. It will be difficult to give up that extra income (even though about half of it went to daycare anyway) and we've come to the realization that we won't be living in the nicest house, driving the fanciest cars, or going on the exotic trips (OK, we didn't really have all those to begin with, so it's not like we're actually giving it up).
It was a hard decision to make, but this is what's best for our family, and while I may be nervous to no longer have a job and be bringing in money, I know that I will not regret it. Someday I hope we'll get to take that amazing trip to Europe, but deep down I know I'm not willing to trade these extra hours spent with baby Fi for all of that. My only regret? Not being able to do it sooner.
