Want to get people to stare at you?

Wear your baby out in public. Last night papa Rob & I went to to the grand opening of Ghengis Grill to celebrate our anniversary. We didn't have a sitter so I spent some time thinking how we were going to avoid a baby Fi meltdown (since evening tends to be her fussiest time) while trying to eat; the only idea I could come up with was wearing her in her Ergo. (When she's fussy, this is pretty much the only way to calm her so I end up wearing her a lot during the day just so I can get things done.)
Well geeze, you'd think I was carrying around an alien baby the way people stared, pointed and whispered. Get with it people, babywearing has been done since the beginning of time so it's hardly a new concept. Ironically, no one said a word as I wore her & drank a margarita (my first stiff drink in about 11 months and boy was it delicious!).
