If you read this post, you know weight is a bit of an issue with Anneliese (and I will have to remind her that at one time, she was too skinny). But we're happy to report that we had a check-up today and she is now 8lbs 10oz!
That's right, not only has she surpassed her birthweight by 5oz, she has gained a total of 13oz in only a week! I keep reading that you can't overfeed a newborn, but now I'm not so sure. Even though I would prefer to be nursing her instead of pumping & bottlefeeding her breastmilk, I'm glad to know that my body is still keeping her fat & happy.
Haha I love that episode of Family Guy - but it gives the South a bad wrap. Alli doesn't have a pig in her class at daycare...
