We're back, feeling refreshed & looking tan (well, one of us). It was so amazing, it felt like our honeymoon, but even better. Believe me, being "babymooners" at an all-inclusive gets you much better treatment than just "honeymooners." They took excellent care of us (even upgraded our room 8 levels above what we paid for!); I ate til I felt like I was going to puke, I took mid-day naps, I lounged in a bucket in the ocean (it was more alluring than it sounds), I drank (virgin) piña coladas in a beach cabana, I waddled my butt around in a bikini and, for the first time since I can remember, wasn't worrying about sucking anything in. It was pure heaven...but was is the key word and now it's back to the real world & 20° weather (boy was that a rude awakening when you are wearing shorts).
But the good news is, only one more week until we see Wallace (come on, you didn't think I'd have a post without mentioning him, did you?). It's going to be a busy week trying to catch up on work, especially since we leave on Tuesday to come home for Christmas, but we hope to update with pictures soon.
