Yes, please. In a moment of pure stereotypical pregnancy, I picked up pickles at the store. And if you don't already know, I hate pickles (I guess the years of smelling my step-dad make can dill pickles have seared the scent into my nose & ruined me forever). I hate them so much, if Chick-fil-a forgets to give me a bun without pickles, I have to eat the chicken w/a fork because I can't stand the taste of the pickle juice (and yes, you die-hard CFA'ers don't have to remind me that they soak the patties in pickle juice so I must not hate the taste that much). So what was the most logical food item to pair with my pickles? Edy's Grape Juice fruit popsicles of course. Delicious.
And guess what I learned from this adventure? 1) Wallace loves sweet gherkin pickles (I learn something new about this kid every day) and 2) if anyone is going to be gaining sympathy weight, I'm pretty sure it's going to end up being Wallace and not Rob.
BTW, if you're not familiar w/Mt. Olive pickles, not only are they delicious (although you may want to ask me to reevaluate after the pregnancy hormones have subsided) & come in these convenient little packs (ya know, for the pregnant woman on the go), they are made right here in North Carolina!
